The basics
What is Eqlynk?
Who is Eqlynk for?
Anyone who loves horses, riding, or the small businesses that support both. Whether you're trying to find a saddle fitter in your region, planning a tack-store side-quest on your next trip, or just curious what equestrian retail looks like on the other side of the world — you're in the right place.
Is Eqlynk free to use?
Yes. Browsing the directory and map is free, and creating an account to save favorites or submit stores is free too. Eqlynk isn't paid by the stores listed on it.
Do I need an account?
Not for browsing. You only need a free account if you want to save favorites, build shareable lists, or submit a store or update. Join free →
Stores and curation
How do stores get added?
Every store is added by a real person — usually a community member who has visited or knows the shop, or our team verifying a submission. We don't let a model crawl the web and dump results into the directory. Curation is slower that way, but the listings are more honest.
Do you use AI at all?
We use modern tools where they genuinely help us stay accurate — for example, helping clean up imported data or flagging inconsistencies. But no shop ends up on Eqlynk because an AI said so. A person decides.
What does “personally verified” mean?
A personally verified shop is one a member of the Eqlynk team has visited, ordered from, or directly confirmed with the owner. It's our highest level of confidence — and it's how we mark the shops we'd send a friend to without hesitation.
How do you keep the directory accurate?
Honestly? Imperfectly, but earnestly. Stores open, close, relocate, and pivot — sometimes faster than any directory can keep up with. We rely on the community to send us updates, and we review submissions as quickly as we can. If you spot something off, please tell us.
Why isn’t my favorite shop listed?
Probably because no one's told us about it yet. Sign in and submit it — bonus points if you can include the address, website, and a sentence or two about what makes it special.
Submitting and updating
How do I submit a store?
Sign in (or create a free account) and head to Submit a Store. You'll add the basics — name, location, website, what kind of shop it is — and any extra context you want to share. We'll review and publish it.
I’m a store owner. Can I claim or update my listing?
Yes. The simplest path right now is to create an account and submit an update through the store page, or email us at contact@eqlynk.com from a business-associated email. We're working on a more polished claim flow — bear with us.
Something on a listing is wrong. How do I fix it?
On any store page you can submit an update. If you'd rather email, contact@eqlynk.com works too — just let us know which store and what needs changing.
How long does it take to review a submission?
Usually a few days. Eqlynk is small and curated by humans, so review speed depends on how many shops are in the queue. We promise we read every one.
Accounts and privacy
What can I do with an account?
Save your favorite stores, build shareable lists, submit new shops, suggest updates, and get a profile page that's yours to organise.
How do you handle my data?
Carefully and minimally. We collect what we need to run your account and nothing we don't. Full details live in our Privacy Policy.
Can I delete my account?
Yes — email contact@eqlynk.com and we'll handle it. Account deletion removes your personal data within 30 days.
Promotions, partnerships, and the future
Are stores paying to be on Eqlynk?
No. Inclusion in the directory is not pay-to-play. Stores can run promotions on the promotions page, but being listed is independent of any commercial relationship.
Can my store run a promotion?
Yes — reach out at contact@eqlynk.com and we'll walk you through how it works.
Where is Eqlynk headed next?
More stores, more regions, better tools for trip-planning and local discovery, and a smoother experience for the shop owners who want to participate. If you have ideas, we'd love to hear them.
Still wondering something?
We're a small team and we read every message. Drop us a line — we'll get back to you.
